The new French virtual airline La France is soon ready for launch.
The airline, which is set up by a group from the now defunct flyScandinavia will launch flights from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Munich, Vienna, Stockholm Arlanda and Lisbon sometime in March.
Using a fleet of two Boeing 767-300ER’s powered with General Electric engines, the airline expects to become a serious player at routes between Paris and Stockholm. The aircraft will be fitted with a two class interior with 25 business and 188 economy seats.
All flights will depart from Terminal 1 at CDG and the airline will use Terminal 2 at Munich, Terminal 5 at Stockholm and Terminal 1 at Lisbon.
Free WLAN
“All passengers will have their own personal tv screen with on demand entertainment system and live TV, ” says CEO Joakim Holmstrom Zenk. “All passengers get a free three dish meal, cold in economy and hot in bussines.”
“[There is also] free WLAN for bussines class passengers, ” he added.
Competing with Air France
”We have seen a problem with that Air France is the only airline in France, so we will start to compete with them on low risk routes, so we will be guaranteed a profit for the whole of 2009” Mr Holmstrom Zenk said.
It can possibly be 2 Boeing 767-200, it’s still unsure.
But it will be GE engines and 767.
In the future we aim to expand in europe with a larger fleet and more destinations like Moscow, Larnaca, Palma de Mallorca, Dublin and many more.
