NorthEast Virtual Airlines to Begin Operations

Boston, MA - Tuesday December 14, 2010 12:00 PM EST. Northeast Virtual Airlines has made a firm commitment for the beginning of commercial flight operations. CEO Daniel Hawton announced to the press at the headquarters of North East Airlines in Boston, Massachusetts, that operations are set to begin this month.

“The time has come. All the pieces and procedures are in place and functional. Our time to enter the Virtual Airline market has arrived.” He continued “This day will be one of great sense of accomplishment and achievement. I celebrate this momentous event with all staff, pilots, and employees of Northeast Virtual Airlines.”

Northeast Virtual Airlines Boston HUB Manager, Miguel Hernandez, was not readily available for comment due to preparations being made at Boston – General Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport (KBOS) for the pre-flight christening and subsequent celebratory events planned that afternoon.

Rahul Parkar, Vice President of Information Technology , who is spearheading the implementation of the custom ACARS system integration and maintenance of the NEE website said “It’s amazing to see where we have come after all this started as an idea. Soon, all of our hard work will pay off. This is a day to be celebrated by all staff, pilots, and employees alike. This was a total team effort through and through.”
