VAWTC receives delivery of new F5 S & F variants

The Virtual Air Warfare Training Centre (VAWTC) has recently taken delivery of thirteen updated ‘S’ models of the F5 “Tiger II”, which replace is ageing F5A “Freedom Fighter” fleet. Four ‘F’ models, the trainer variant, were also delivered for staff training and promotional pax flights. The F5 Tiger II has improved performance and aerodynamics, which will better serve VAWTC to fulfil its mission.

Blue Sky Airlines to hit the skies

Start-up airline Blue Sky Airlines, based at Boston Logan Airport (KBOS) completed its first flight earlier this week. The aircraft, an Airbus A318-100 is currently being moved from the Airbus factory in Toulouse, France to Boston where it will be repainted into the new owner’s colors.
