From time to time I visit all the websites on our links page and delete dead links and/or links of VA’s that haven’t posted with us in quite a while. Today was the day for the current iteration. :) I will probably prune more after I search each VA to see when their last news was posted with us.
Inevitably, this is supposed to be a two way street… I post the link to your VA in exchange for content from your VA in the form of news. Without content, VAFlash is a dead site. If your VA’s site is listed on our links page, consider sending a news bit from time to time.

Flight1 Software: Ultimate Terrain X – Canada Version 2 Released
Flight One Software, in cooperation with Scenery Solutions, is excited to bring you the ultimate in terrain add-ons for Flight Simulator X Boxed and Steam Editions, Prepar3d 2.4+, as well as native support for Prepar3d V3.
UTX Canada V2 is a near complete rewrite of our original V1 release 8 years ago. Here are some of the advancements that have been added to V2.

Announcing the 24 Hour Flying Charity Challenge
How many of you out there know someone who currently has Cancer, or has died of Cancer? I think most of the population has. Ryan Boulton-Lear with UKVirtual contacted me to see if I was interested in being a sponsor/link partner for the 24 Hour Flying Charity Challenge. Canadian Xpress October 2015 Challenge – Dangerous Airports IV
This month, our mission is to depart from Stornoway (EGPO) and fly to Barra Airport (EGPR) which is a short-runway airport (or STOLport) situated in the wide shallow bay of Traigh Mhor at the north tip of the island of Barra in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. The airport is unique, being the only one in the world where scheduled flights use a beach as the runway. The beach is set out with three runways in a triangle, marked by permanent wooden poles at each end. At high tide these runways are under water so flight times vary with the tide. Emergency flights occasionally operate at night from the airport with vehicle lights used to illuminate the runway and reflective strips laid on to the beach.
