Atlantic Northeast Virtual, originally founded in early 2003, relaunched it’s web site yesterday after the most significant series of changes in the airline’s history. The web site was originally taken down on January 6th this year to allow for the major upgrade and move to a new domain.
The web site now features a fully automatic pilot registration and reporting facility, internal mail, and pilot forum. The relaunch also sees the airline open it’s fifth hub, and the first English hub ouside London at Bristol Lulsgate Airport, for which excellent freeware and payware scenery is available.
“The airline has maintained its laid back attitude to virtual flying, allowing it’s members to add a little more structure to their hobby, without too many rules and regulations, ” said CEO Andrew Butcher
The airline’s official relaunch date is March 2nd 2009, but pilot applications are now once again being accepted at www.flyane.com
