Norfolk, VA - Today, the UASO has unveiled the newest addition to its widely growing list of interactive multimedia formats. UASO TV that only aired during live spaceflight mission events will now be broadcast 24/7 using ustream, a multi-casting program enabling a continuous stream of clips and video’s to be played off-air, and allowing UASO spaceflight missions to be broadcast via streaming realtime video online as the events happen to the second.
The UASO plans to use UASO TV to broadcast not only upcoming spaceflight missions, but show a myriad of educational shows and clips covering astronomy, aerospace, and spaceflight, in addition to its weekly UASO news broadcast. A broadcasting schedule will be posted on the UASO website on December 27, 2009.
The first live broadcast will take place on January 20, 2010 at 5:00 pm EST, as Constellation-1 takes to the skies an hour later to launch a GPS and telecommunications satellite into geosynchronous orbit. More information on the Constellation-1 launch will be posted on the UASO website in coming days. Stay tuned for further updates
