On 5th September, EuroHarmony has reached 220 new pilots for the first time on their history.
Bruno, the president says “This is a true reward of our effort in order to give new features and innovations to our pilots”.
EuroHarmony’s 2008 objective is to reach December 31, 2008 with 250 new pilots.

On 28th of August 2008, Alaska Airlines officially ceased operations of all MD80′s as they are officially retired and are being replaced by 737-800′s and other 737s. A deal has been reached between two high profile VATSIM members regarding the development of an “Eskimo VA”. The project has been under lock and key for a couple of weeks however, some information has been provided from an unknown senior staff member.
“Eskimo VA will model the real world operations of Alaska Airlines. At this point in time we have not publicly released a timetable for development.” stated the senior staff member. Eskimo VA is predicted to become a Seattle-based carrier that collectively serves more than 70 destinations in the Western U.S., Canada, and Mexico.

Bourne Aviation announced today two more airlines have been added to the group, bringing the total number of airlines to sixteen.
Both Virtual South African Airways and Virtual Scandinavian Airlines have been added and will be simulating the operations of their real-world counterparts.
Four months old Flock- Air has reached Virtual Airlines Financials Systems (VAFS) top ten based on number of flight hours for last month, leaving behind more than 400 airlines.
In just under one month, celebrations will begin for Breathe Virtual Airways’ one year birthday.
A time for celebration from both the management and the almost 300 active pilots of the airline, in what has been an amazing year for the airline. The expansion possibilities that have hit the airline, such as regional operations with a new aircraft family – Embraer 145, and the soon to come Boeing 777-200ER for long haul expansion.
