Global Air Cargo Virtual has hired a Chief of Human resources and now has another new job opening. The Job opening is a hub manager position this involves:

  • Submitting a monthly report on how your hub is going
  • Being active in the forums
  • Try to make airline events
  • Fly once a month
  • Have msn and/or skype for staff meetings
  • Knowledge of excel, have a copy of MS excel or open office excel

Cirrus Air to Resume Operations

Hyde Park, IL – Last week, officials at Cirrus Air gathered to discuss the possible reorganization of Cirrus Air and its operations. At the conclusion of the meeting it was decided that Cirrus Air would take to the skies once again with a new vision, goal and objective. Starting from the old website and systems, Cirrus would return to its previous operations only to rebuild the staff team at which point, reorganization would commence.

In an attempt to fill remaining positions, Cirrus is currently accepting applications for both the Chicago Midway Hub Manager, and the Director of Human Resources positions. Mike Mosteller II, the new CEO of Simulated United has sent an email to let us know that they’re opened for business!  He states in his email “We have started up Simulated United, a virtual airline that contains ALL of United Airline’s actual routes including the Star Alliance, and includes the entire United Airlines fleet.  We are currently open and accepting applications for pilots all the way up to and including one executive opening.  Hub manager positions are also open.  We use the VAFinancials VCAS system and encourage VATSIM but it isn’t a requirement.  All pilots must be 13 years of age or older.”

Global Air Cargo Hires Events Manager – Has Openings in HR and VP

Global Air Cargo Virtual’s Vice President has stepped down but has taken up the position of Events manager at GACV. We are sad to see him step down but are greatful that he is not leaving GACV and is staying on as the events manager with us. We now have a few more staff positions open these are:

B6’s First Official Month is in the Books

As most simmers know, B6 officially launched it’s Grand Opening on the 1st of January 2010. We have put our opening month’s stats in the books which has exceeded even our wildest exepctations. During the Month of January out team has logged 576 flights for 1374 hours of flight time. That averages out to 18 flights per day at over 44 hours of flight time per day. Of course some days are busier than others with Saturdays and Sundays being our busiest times of the week. If that is the measuring stick to what the rest of the year might look like we’re in for a wild ride. I am so proud of what this team has done!

Our first official sponsored event with ZNY ARTCC was this month as we hosted our ” Live at T5 ” event. We had over 22 planes in the sky at one time. With representation from Boston, New York, Clevland and Washington Centers the skies were filled very nicely.
