ATC Training is back this 6th of March. This time its being held at Brisbane (YBBN). The event will be held on the vatsim network and ATC is planned to be online from 7:30PM AEDT / 10:30 UTC to 10:30PM AEDT / 14:30 UTC. This time we need to focus on our departure and enroute calls and also sids and stars so find a good fmc that you can install into your aircraft. A new FSX-based ATC training academy is set to open in the coming weeks. For those interested in becoming skilled air traffic controllers, Synergy ATC Academy, (www.synergyatc.com), is to begin operations from a U.S. hub by the end of October 2008. Prospective members are encouraged to check the website often as information becomes available.
In addition to controller training, Synergy ATC Academy also plans an in-depth flight school (Synergy Flight Academy) and a virtual airline (Syner-Jet Virtual), set to take-off in the months following the launch of the ATC training school. Continue reading
