During the annual mid-year report yesterday, American Flight Airways CEO unveiled a new logo and livery for the long standing airline. During the report Koro had this to say about the new livery, “The design stays true to the history of American Flight Airways aircraft which predominantly have had green tails.” He went on to say how this also brings American Flight Airways into the future. The livery is expected to roll out in time to start American Flight Airway’s 20th year of operation. The current livery has served American Flight Airways for over 15 years; in that time it has been recognized as the face of the virtual airline community in a number of publications. In the press interview, Koro explains “The current livery has served us well, and is as iconic as other classic liveries, but just as those liveries have been updated, it is time for us as well to move forward and update as well” From the that interview it was also learned that the livery will remain on a few aircraft as part of their legacy fleet which will also included the original livery on a 737-800 set for release sometime next year.

MANCHESTER, UK - freshJet are proud to finally reveal our new livery, fresh from thepaint shop at Manchester Airport, UK, painted on one of our Airbus A320 aircraft.
This is the first time that the livery, announced in late 2012, has been revealed to the public. The new paint scheme is to be painted across the fleet of Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft. All aircraft are expected to be repainted by early May, in time for the introduction of the summer schedules.
The summer schedules will feature new destinations for the airline as we expand further throughout Europe. CEO Iain Robb had this to say:
“I am delighted to finally reveal the long-awaited new livery and cannot wait to see it painted across the rest of our fleet and ultimately see it appearing at new airports across Europe when we released our summer schedules in May.”
Today, Golden Ghana VA released a special schedule to celebrate it’s first birthday. The new timetable features seven cities between Accra/Ghana and Yaounde/Cameroon. Seen from above, the flights between these cities will draw a big “G” on the map of Western Africa.

The flights will be performed with two additional aircraft in the GOG fleet: In the morning at 0600 UTC, a Boeing 737-800 departs at Accra to the East, while at the same time a Bombardier Canadair CRJ200 starts from Yaounde to the West. In the evening, both aircraft will return to their origin.
Both aircraft are painted in a new GOG Birthday livery created by Mr. Ingo Patzke. This livery is available for addons to Flight Simulator 9, Flight Simulator X and X-Plane. The screenshot shows the EADT x737 for X-Plane at the airport of Accra.

The look of Air Fresno will be changing in the near future, as the airline becomes a US Airways regional division. As part of an agreement with one of the virtual airlines long time pilots, who is a retired real world US Airways pilot, Air Fresno’s domain costs will be paid through the end of the year 2015. In exchange the airline will switch to US Airways Express livery, and will become a “payware exclusive” airline, requiring all members to own a licensed copy of the PMDG Express Beech 1900C and 1900D. The service will continue to be based out of Fresno, California, with selected service locations that US Airways does serve, but only from Phoenix. “We intend to link Fresno with more than a dozen destinations, retaining Air Fresno’s service profile, all that is really changing is the livery”. US Airways Express destinations will include Bakersfield, Ontario, Continue reading
