New Hub in Manchester
On November 18th 2012, freshJet opened it’s hub in Manchester, the third in the UK. Initially, two aircraft will be based here, one Airbus A319 and one Airbus A320. Both aircraft will be used on a variety of routes to Europe including Paris CDG, Palma, Tenerife, Belfast and Glasgow. Keflavik, Iceland was recently added to the route network and will also be served from Manchester, initially operating on a once-weekly basis.
Iain Robb, CEO said the following:
“I am extremely pleased to finally launch our new hub at Manchester. Not only will this allow us to expand our domestic network, but also allow us to expand to more profitable destinations throughout Europe.”
“I hope that the new hub will bring great success to the airline and will become a popular choice among both pilots and passengers.”
A third and perhaps fourth aircraft are expected to be added next year.
Winter Schedules
The Winter 2012/2013 schedules have been released and published. A variety of ski and winter sun destinations are available from our hubs in Glasgow, Belfast, and now Continue reading
EuroHarmony VA is marking the onset of winter with the release of a new ski-equipped variant of the Twin Otter for our “WILD” bush flying Division. Pilots can now keep flying to airfields in Canada and the USA that might be unreachable by other planes and we’re even going to fly glacier charters for those tourists who want to walk on the ice. Structural airframe icing is even simulated on our Twotter thanks to a fantastic gauge by Charles Owen so bush flying has truly never been more challenging!
For those pilots who prefer big airliner action there’s still time to join in our Winter ProPilot Event which traces the route of the Trans-Siberian railway using a very appropriate modern Russian jet, the Antonov 148 – the first leg is still open for new pilots until December 11th. With the latest version of our proprietary Flight Logger software due before Christmas, there’s never been a better time to sample all the choices on Continue reading
