Vortex Virtual Airlines will be hosting its official launch event throughout the month of June.  Come join us in a month of excitement, challenging flying and massive prizes! Moncton FIR Confederat​ion Bridge Crossing

The Confederation Bridge is an 8 mile bridge connecting Prince Edward Island to New Brunswick and mainland Canada.

Moncton/Gander FIR invite all pilots to join them on Saturday, May 28th between 19h00edt (23h00z) & 23h00edt (03h00z) on the VATSIM network for a crossing of the Bridge. Charlottetown Airport (CYYG), Moncton (CYQM), as well as Fredericton (CYFC) will all be staffed, so come fly in and out of these airports and have a great night!

Legends describe Tahiti-Nui and Tahiti-Iti as a great fish that swam away from the sacred waters of Havai’i, now known as the lagoon shared by Raiatea and Taha’a. Platinum Airways’ Destination of the Week Series Goes on Safari

Platinum Airways, the very virtual Open Skies airline, has revealed its upcoming Destination of the Week theme. For four successive weeks, its pilots will be spotting the Big Five on an African Safari.

Korean Air Virtual Now Open!

SEOUL – Korean Air Virtual has announced that today is the official start of business operations. Coming from real world pilots and professional staff members, Korean Air Virtual strives to be one of the most unique Virtual Airlines in the industry. “We hope to make gains that allow us to soar with the best in the industry,” says CEO Jonathan Lamb. “Planning has been an integral part of this virtual airline and we constantly strive to improve daily.”

Korean Air Virtual (KAL) was founded in early 2011. Deciding that there was not a virtual airline that properly represented Korean Air, the project was agreed upon by all founding staff. Following the agreement to start working on the virtual airline, Korean Air Virtual was put through its paces. Phoenix Virtual Airways Celebrates Anniversary In Grand Style

NEW YORK, New York – It was Easter weekend, 2010, when Phoenix Virtual Airways (PVA) first took to the air in its current form. To celebrate one year of continuous operations, PVA has increased the number of airlines served to over 275, updated the website, and released significant updates to its proprietary ACARS.

“A year ago we started with 7 airlines and 27 pilots,” said Jeffrey Kobus, EVP of Airline Development, in a statement. “Since then we have added over 250 more airlines and PVA’s Military Air Reserve Force. Our pilots have recorded over 10,000 flight hours and our highest time pilot has over 1,000 hours.”
