Pacific International Virtual Airlines Moves to Operations Stage

Honolulu, Oct. 1 /HQEXE Release/ — Pacific International Virtual Airlines (PIV) has announced today that it has put forward the final steps in its transition from its developmental stage to operations stage. Over the past few months the developers have worked closely outlining the basics of the upcoming organization and has out sourced as necessary. The final pieces of the website are coming together, and the site is currently being transferred to our server. Within the next week or two, those involved within the technology department will begin the first stage of web testing.

As the organization moves to the next stage, the staff review committee will begin distributing staff applications and reviewing/interviewing all prospective staff. Contact the HQEXE department for the application, and information regarding this process. Continue reading

Celestial Air Virtual Ontrack for October 5 Opening

BOSTON – Celestial Air Virtual is proud to announce it will be officially open on October 5, 2009 as planned. The web site is under going the final additions such as travel information, a pilot shop for its members where aircraft manuals, flight simulator products and apparel will be sold to its members at a discount off suggested retail or web pricing. Celestial Air would like to invite pilots to fill the schedule for the Dublin Ops 2009 event on October 3, and the Wonderful Copenhagen event on October 5, 2009 a schedule is posted.

National Madden League Seeks Charter Flights

Kansas City, MO - The National Madden League is in search for a few carriers to transport the various franchises that make up the league.

“While a few of our teams have already been contracted out to various airlines, we still have many other teams that need a contract charter carrier,” said NML Commissioner Brandon Fisher.

The National Madden League was started in 2003 with only 5 teams. This season will be the league’s seventh with a total of 24 teams. Each week from now until January teams will need to be flown to their away games and back. Continue reading

New York Flying Club To Celebrate Its First Birthday Nov 1

The New York Flying Club will be celebrating its first Birthday on November 1st, 2009 at Noon.  They will be featuring their 4 FBO’s: Farmingdale-Republic (FRG), Long Island MacArthur/Islip (ISP), Teterboro New Jersey (TEB), and Danbury Connecticut (DXR).

They will also be raffling off a T-6 Texan to those members who participate in the event.

Virtual Military Airlift Command Rebrands itself to Commissioned Air Transport Services

Formally founded as VMAC Virtual Military Airlift Command in April, 2009 realized over the course of these many months, the name did not reflect the mission statement of the program. VMAC, never reflected a command of the US Air Force as it was representative of a multi-national air transport command. Over time this became unsettling as there was never a defined mission stating the goals of VMAC. Consequently there were a host of changes and updates to the site and it’s documentation that didn’t sit well with many. Continue reading
