Part of our celebrations is the launch of our Boeing C-17 Globemaster III, along with a tour/challenge that will run over the course of the next year using our new aircraft which is available to all pilots regardless of rank but only for the tour/challenge.
This month’s challenge is the tenth leg of our 5 Year Anniversary World Tour that take us from Lisbon Portela (LPPT) to Lorient South (LFRH).

Caal Airways Introduces A Major Expansion
Caal Airways has gone through a major expansion. We now have a Hub in every Continent. Europe has hubs at EGAA, EIDW, EGPF, EGGW and EDDM. N America has a Hub at KIAH. S America has a Hub at SBGL. Asia has Hubs at RJTT, VTBS and ZBAA. Africa/Middle East has a hub at OMDB and last but by no means least Australia YSSY. Each Region has an Ops Manager apart from S America where one will be appointed soon. We hope that this will attract a more world based pilot roster.
We have also introduced a more modern and up to date website and changed the look of our forum. We still are a relaxed airline and as we understand real life has a habit of getting in the way of our beloved hobby, so all we ask is you fly whenever you can. The tour database has been cleared and our OP’s Managers will be introducing some new tours.

Eastern Airlines Virtual Press Release – Fleet Additions
Eastern Airlines Virtual is pleased to announce two additions to our fleet. Our first addition is the Boeing 737MAX painted in the livery of the New Eastern Airlines. The second addition isn’t an addition per se, more a returning aircraft. We are pleased to welcome back the DC-10-30 in the classic silver Hockey Stick livery. Canadian Xpress April Fly-In – Telluride
Telluride Regional Airport at an elevation of 9,078 feet above sea level, was the highest commercial airport in North America with scheduled passenger flights, until Great Lakes Airlines ended service in 2014.
The runway is on a plateau and still dips slightly in the center, although the dip was more pronounced prior to a renovation in 2009. It can be a challenging but beautiful approach for pilots.
