vUSAF & AETC First Principles of Learning

To guide the learning process, vUSAF has designed Principles of Learning and applied them to all areas of our program.

This applies to our vUSAF for today and tomorrow.

1. The vUSAF & AETC learning environment is adaptable.

2. The learning environment is effective and efficient in meeting validated learning objectives, protecting our vUSAF Pilots time in their real life and in our great hobby. A great balance.

3. Our new Technology for 2014 is designed to give us the most innovative learning environment possible.

4. Learning is available anytime and anywhere

5. Students in the vUSAF & AETC are responsible for their own learning with training material to guide their way.

6. Instruction is more interactive, self-paced where possible, and appropriate to the vUSAF desired outcome.

DHL Virtual Cargo Airline Updates

DHLv’s strategy around hubs is to ensure we have one in a country or region of operations, these hubs are responsible for contract negotiations, tender applications, service review meetings, reciprocal arrangements with partner or other local freight operators, airlines and road transport companies and of course selling our services to businesses and individuals in their region.

With the above in mind the changes to our hubs that have already happened are:

1. African operations are now based from the new hub recently completed at OR Tambo International Airport ICAO: FAOR.

2. US Operations at Newark Liberty International have moved to the facility at JFK International Airport and the Newark facility downgraded to a maintenance centre.

3. Caribbean Operations are now based at Princess Juliana International (TNCM) and the St Kitts facility closed but overnight parking/maintenance is still available there.

4. The hub at Hong Kong Chep Lap Kok has been downgraded to a Continue reading

CityLink VA Expands Fleet

CityLink Virtual Airlines is an airline based in the Netherlands. We have 2 hubs; 1 in Maastricht (EHBK) and 1 in Rotterdam (EHRD). We’re also planning a new hub… Well, let’s get to the point. We have added the Fokker 50 to our fleet, after that we created new routes for it, and now we’re looking for pilots to fly. Of course we have other planes as well. For example, we also use the Cessna 208B, Twinotter (DHC6-400), Pilatus PC12 and the Beech King Air B200. CityLink always has a freeware alternative, which the Dash 8-q300 instead of the Fokker 50.
