CrossAir Virtual Begins Operations
Matt Smith CEO of Crossair Virtual is pleased to announce that we have now started operations.
Matt Smith spoke early today at a press conference in Zurich: ” Crossair Virtual today starts operations, our head office will be based at Zurich Kloten Airport. We will operate from 3 hubs: Zurich, Geneva and Basel to destinations all over Europe; using a fleet of Bae146, Erj145 and Embraer E170 aircraft. Starting with 7 Aircraft and 20 routes we are starting small but will hopefully we will expand our route network greatly over the coming months.
Crossair operates a high standard of service towards our passengers. Even on our short flights, Crossair will offer our passengers a selection of drinks and high quality snacks. These include: Orange juice, Champagne and Water. All drinks and snacks are free of charge. Crossair will also operate Business and Economy class flights and our business class passengers will have access to special services, such as airport lounges and priority luggage services. Crossair’s luggage policy is very “passengers friendly”. Passengers can take with them up to 30 kilos of hold luggage with them and 5 kilos of hand luggage. Crossair will also help our passengers further by offering them a ‘delivery at aircraft door’ service. This is where passengers can leave heavy or large items of hand luggage at the aircraft stairs and then collect them their again on arrival. For passengers needing special assistance, such as wheelchair passengers, Crossair will assist them, by offering them priority boarding and assistance at the airport.”

Skyways Cargo is Taking Off!
As of now woh|group virtual airlines is looking for pilots for their new cargo airline “Skyways Cargo”. Since January 27th 16 MD11-Freighters are serving destinations around the world, main hub of “Skyways Cargo” is Frankfurt/Main. You will find routes within Europe as well as longhaul services. Special highlight is a three-times per week served “around the world” service. We offer textures for FS9 and FSX as well as for Free- and Payware (PMDG).
Until March 31st new applicants are able to choose the MD11-Typerating as entry rating. Within the same period all “Skyways Cargo” flights will be rewarded with double miles. Miles can be used to acquire further type-ratings.
woh|group has been founded in 2000. Today about 200 pilots are flying for five airlines (American Sun, Arabian Sun, charterair, Virtual Skyways and brand-new Skyways Cargo). We serve about 350 destinations in more than 100 countries. Simultaneously we consider ourself as an aviation interest group which stages meetings and workshops.

Welcome to 2014 here at Virtual United! We have some big news to start you off with so let’s get started!
The first thing you probably noticed is our new logo. Yes, we are still the same www.virtualua.org but we decided to undergo a new corporate rebranding to provide a more modern and sophisticated look. This new logo comes with several alternate versions for publications and forum signatures so stay tuned. We also created several new features for our members. These include a brand new forums, a pilot welcome package with desktop wallpapers and FS splashscreens, and lots more on the way for the new year!
Speaking of development, we are starting off the year with a bang. In the coming weeks, we will release another promotional video as well as some videos in coordination with our awesome partners. Probably the largest item on the agenda is a new face for Virtual United. We will be starting the process of revamping our current site to make it more functional and even give our pilots some features never before seen at a virtual airline. Stay tuned for more!
So the question rises, why all of these new updates? Is it just a bunch of new year resolutions? Of course not! Today we would like to announce some BIG news. After several months of negotiations and hard work, we have received official recognition from United Airlines, Inc. What does this mean for you, our pilots? Well it means now we have more resources to continue providing what we have done in the past year, just expect a lot more of it! This will include: product giveaways, contests with great prizes, discounts to our partners’ websites, and maybe even a real world convention for all of Virtual United’s staff and members!

Announcing DLH Virtual Group!
DLH Virtual Group is proudly based off of a pretty well known German Airline, I would just like to introduce the airline and who we are and what are mission is as a virtual airline. We are made up of pilots all over the world who have been in previous virtual airlines and real life flight operations, and new guys who want to learn aviation and the joy of flying. Everyday we grow larger and with the increase in pilots our operations have grown larger, we are happy to provide our pilots with a custom kACARS and phpVMS so they can do their part in the operations at DLH Virtual.
Our mission is to provide the best possible DLH Virtual as we can, we try and be serious at DLH Virtual Group but we also know fun is a must to keep our pilots happy and bringing them back. As of right now we offer many tours around Germany, and around the World. We’ve also integrated a few code share flights and aircraft from partners with DLH Virtual Group, we offer routes from 30 minutes to 12 hours long. Our founder built this virtual airline to stand the test of time and we want new pilots to know that we stay true to our rules, so don’t think you can join and sit around and do nothing to earn that spot and title as a DLH Virtual Group Pilot.

Sky Blue Radio will be celebrating “VA Days 2014” the third weekend in February on the 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th.
That weekend Virtual Airlines will have the opportunity to promote and advertise their organization at no cost on Sky Blue Radio and have the opportunity to win one year of free advertising if selected as the Sky Blue Radio “Virtual Airline of the Year”! The total value of the advertising for the VA Days Virtual Airline of the Year exceeds $4,000!
Each Virtual Airline who enters before the deadline will be allotted a 30 second audio spot to air all weekend on Sky Blue Radio during the promotion. We will also include banner placement for your VA on our website. Submit your entries now! Space is limited! Entry period is open now!
