Garuda Indonesia Virtual (GIV) is a Virtual Airline Only for FS2004 (FS9) or FSX platform user & we are not affiliate with real world Garuda Indonesia. Simulated real national airlines operating in Indonesia. Our philosophy is to ensure the realism as much as possible within the limits of Flight Simulator aspect. Created by simmer and real pilot who wants to create a new federative community, real and virtual pilots. This community was intend & created to fill the gap between real world and virtual aviation airlines, as well as simulate airlines flight operation in Indonesia. But that’s just the beginning of many other features we have.We also create a fun environment to learn, exchange and fly!
Between 2011 – 2013, Garuda Indonesia Virtual maintain their position as a leading virtual airline in Indonesia & Asia with more than 300 pilots, of which 95% active, more than 35.000 flights & 5.425.934 hours logged. Sunland Holdings VA Back On IVAO
Sunland Holdings VA is back on IVAO! We are a virtual airline with 3 divisions and 6 hubs. The America Division primarily serving the United States, Canada, Caribbean, Central and South America with hubs in Houston (KIAH) and San Juan, PR (TJSJ). The Pacific Division primarily serving the West Coast and Pacific Rim Nations with hubs in Seattle (KSEA) and Honolulu (PHNL). The Atlantic Division primarily serving the Eastern Seaboard and Europe with Hubs in Boston (KBOS) and London Heathrow (EGLL).
Our aircraft range from the Dash8 Q400/ATR72 up to the Boeing 747/777 and Airbus A330.

Truewings Virtual Airlines Joins Aeolus Alliance
On August 10th we welcomed Truewings VA to the Aeolus Alliance.
With the joining of Truewings VA we have our first passenger airline with operations based in South America. This addition opens up a new and atractive area to the alliance network.
With this expansion we make our position stronger in the global market and look forward to continued growth in other continents during the month ahead.

The 20th Fighter Wing (20 FW) is home to the virtual United States Air Force’s (vUSAF) only dual simulator wing flying the world’s premier multirole fighter aircraft, the Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon, affectionately known as the Viper. The 20 FW is currently parent unit of two fighter squadrons, the 55th and 77th. The 55th Fighter Squadron (Fighting Fifty Fifth) is an Flight Simulator X (FSX) based unit flying the F-16. The 55 FS utilizes a variety of add on F-16 aircraft including the Iris Simulations F-16D Viper. This aircraft, along with the vUSAF’s patented ACMI gauge, provide the most advanced F-16 combat operations in FSX and on VATSIM. The 77th Fighter Squadron (Gamblers) flies the Viper located within the venerable Falcon 4.0 simulator first released in 1998. The 77 FS utilizes the latest update by Benchmark Sims (BMS) making it the best purpose built F-16 combat simulator for the PC, period. The 55th and 77th have unprecedented cooperation and combine to make this the premier wing in the vUSAF.
We take inexperienced or low-time pilots and turn them into fully qualified Viper drivers through an extensive training program designed to get the pilot into the air. Additionally, the 20 FW brings the best of both FSX and BMS into one unit. Pilots are assigned to either the 55th or 77th based on their primary platform preference. Established in 1998, VAC (Virtual Air Canada) is a worldwide virtual airline community of real world pilots, flight simulator pilots and aviation enthusiasts who want more realism added to their flights by utilizing Microsoft’s Flight Simulator 2004 and Flight Simulator X.
VAC pilots use our custom flight planning tool to generate briefing packages containing fuel calculations, weather forecasts, updated NOTAMs, ETOPS calculations, and more. The most realistic system in the world, it is virtually identical to briefings used by real world pilots, VAC is the only virtual airline to offer such a system free of charge.
The virtual airline mirrors its daily operations on real world schedules, routes and flights. Comprised of volunteer staff who operate and manage the not-for-profit organization, VAC is Canada’s largest operating and leading virtual airline, and awarded the Top10 virtual airline in the world.

Introducing Seulawah Virtual!
Seulawah Virtual is a new established VA originating from Indonesia. They opened their doors and began operations on June 28th, 2013. Seulawah Virtual is the virtual counterpoint to Seulawah NAD Air which ceased operations due to financial problems. Seulawah was a local carrier who had flights within the Western part of Indonesia and also had flights to Malaysia.
In September 2002 the Seulawah NAD Air, ICAO: NAD, callsign: Seulawah, was launched by the provicianal goverment of Aceh and operated its two Boeing 737-200 aircraft. As of January 2005 Seulawah Nad Air operated services linking Banda Aceh with Medan, Jakarta and Penang in Malaysia and later to cities in the east of Indonesia.
To commemorate this airliner we decided to setup “Seulawah Virtual”.
We are a virtual airline based in the special region of Aceh, Nanggroe Aceh Darusalam (NAD) province, Indonesia with the capital, Banda Aceh.
The name of “Seulawah”
On June 16, 1948 at “Hotel Kutaraja” in Banda Aceh, late President Sukarno managed to arouse the patriotism of the people of Aceh. Through a committee they collected donations from the people of Aceh which total is equivalent to 20 kg of gold. These funds were used to purchase a Dakota aircraft. Caal Airways Monthly Update for June 2013
On the 20th August Caal Airways will be 2 years old. We will be holding an event using our newest hub EIDW and one of our original hubs EGSS. This event will be on Vatsim and pilots are requested to book their slot in the events section of the website. Pilots who do not fly online are also most welcome to join us on the Teamspeak Server and fly offline using Kacars. A schedule will be added for each offline pilot. All pilots flying online can log onto Vatsim using their NIR ID. Any questions please feel to contact me or your Ops Manager.
