Though KACY is a small airport, it’s 10,000ft runway can accommodate virtually all aircraft. So fly to the Atlantic coast this Saturday for some weekend fun!

Vortex Airlines – One step closer to vACARS
Vortex has announced that it is one step closer to achieving its new vACARS system in conjunction with Wingnuts Software. Today the airline announced at its new Miami Headquarters that the product has entered the alpha testing stage and is on the way to being fully operational in the next few weeks.
This is just another in a long line of major reforms the airline has undertaken in recent months. Recently it has closed its Dublin and Calgary hubs, and downsized its international freight operations. To replace these closures the airline opened its new European base at Frankfurt and furthered expansion in the Asian market with a new base at Osaka Kansai.
As always it has kept the big shakers we seen when it entered the market first with pilot’s allowed to operate a Fractional Ownership operational within the airline and also its main operations in Passenger and Freight. However there was some recent bad news when it announced the suspension of its Special Operations Division (SOD).
When talking to Co-CEO Eoin Coates he said: “This is just another of the many major steps we endeavor to take to rebuild and re-energize the airline. We hope to be launching with a complete new image in the next few months and by 2013 the airline will be radically changed so watch this space.”

Pakistan Int. Airlines Simulations Virtual Ranked 2nd Worldwide & Monthly Report June 2012
So another month gets to an end. June 2012 has been noted to be the golden month for 
Pakistan International Airlines Simulation Virtual again. This month was a busy and 24/7 activity month for Pakistan international airlines simulation virtual.
Most importantly , MashAllah by the Grace of Allah Pakistan International Airline’s Simulation Virtual has been ranked 2nd Worldwide in a worldwide competion amongst over200 virtual airlines. We secured a total of 73 votes. We thank all who voted for us! For our members we are giving all our active members who were active in June 2012 10 Bonus Hours as a token of thanks!
We also remained in 110 – 120′s position at VACentral. This month our members recorded a total of 40 PIREPs which is a great improvement as compared to the last months report Last month we had 36 PIREPs but this month we have received 4 more PIREPs. This month PIAS Virtual has received a total of 8 new pilots. Congratulations to all pilots and staff for achieving this.

Eastern Airlines Virtual promotes Dave Mahoney to V.P. of Routes and Fleet Management
Dave has been with Eastern Airlines Virtual for 10 years now and has been our Hub Manager at KDCA. After doing a wonderful job for us as a hub manager, we are confident that he will do well in his new position. Richard Smith did a great job for Eastern in this position since 2008. Richard will be working with Dave for the next few weeks to help him get started. When Dave gets up to speed, we expect new and exciting routes to fly.
As Dave Mahoney steps up to his new position, Robert Smith will be our new Hub Manager at KDCA.
Gabriel Donate has also been promoted to Hub Manager to our Chicago hub.

We are delighted to announce the launch of a new Virtual Airline based out of Ireland. EIN Virtual, is Ireland’s Premier VA operating a fleet of A320 family aircraft and A330s from Belfast, Cork, Shannon, Dublin and a lone A330 from Washington.
