Central Asian Airlines Announces New Route to Tamchy

Central Asian Airlines is proud to announce that a new destination will be added to Central Asian’s route network: Tamchy, on the beautiful Issyk-Kul lake in Kyrgyzstan.

Issyk-Kul is one of the largest mountain lakes in the world, and a prime holiday destinations for Central Asians. It features unique nature, absolute rest and tranquillity, and the most spectacular scenery.

Flights between Almaty and Tamchy will commence on Sunday 10th June 2012 and operate on a daily basis. With one flight in the morning and one in the late afternoon and a flight time of only 35 minutes, this could be a perfect day out! This flight will be operated on a Saab 2000 aircraft.

Additionally, flights between Bishkek and Tamchy will also start operating on the 10th June. Three return flights per week will be offered from the Kyrgyz capital (Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday), and these flights will also be operated in a Saab 2000 aircraft.

Central Asian Airlines Announces New Routes to Central Europe


Central Asian Airlines is proud to announce the opening of its latest route to Prague in the Czech Republic. The route will start on 7 September and serve the Central European hub 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). The route will be flown in the airline’s state-of-the-art Boeing 757-200.

The management of Central Asian Airlines is excited about this new route: “connecting Central Asia to Central Europe opens new perspectives, not only for business, but certainly also for tourism. Central Asian Airlines Hires New Marketing Director

ALMATY, 2011-08-22 – The board of Central Asian Airlines is happy to announce the hiring of a new Marketing Director. Deniz Tezcan TZE0020 from the Netherlands will be taking on this role as of September 1, 2011.

The airline is happy to have Mr. Tezcan on board, and is looking forward to working with him.

This comes at a time where the airline has said to be developing new routes, particularly into Eastern Europe. Rumours have it that Central Asian will soon be flying direct flights between Almaty and Prague as well as Almaty and Athens.
