Lufthansa Cargo Virtual Airlines is for users of flight simulator X-Plane, FS2004, FSX – we use an ACARS system. System utilizes booking of flights based on the location and position of the aircraft and pilot.
Lufthansa Cargo Virtual Airlines simulates the transport of real cargo airlines Lufthansa Cargo, which currently has a fleet of McDonnell Douglas MD-11s. The fleet of MD-11 aircraft in the system has more than 3300 schedules under realistic flight plans of Lufthansa Cargo.
Website created by consent and enjoys the support of Lufthansa Cargo.
In 2013, we expect expansion of the fleet to add new Boeing 777F aircraft. We look forward to the new virtual airline pilots Lufthansa Cargo Virtual.
Note: Lufthansa Cargo flight connections are for the long haul pilots, because the connection starts from 1500 nm.

NEW YORK, New York – In the largest scheduling update so far in their nearly three year history, Phoenix Virtual Airways has added all regularly scheduled flights from the Summer 2012 season. PVA now operates the largest and most complete virtual airline schedule available with daily flights representing 720 airlines worldwide. Pilots of PVA can fly 2,350 aircraft to 3,550 destinations, many matching what can be found on popular flight tracking websites like Flightaware.com.
“This was a huge update and a great effort from all of our staff,” stated CEO Michael Moro. “Our goal has always been to offer a simulation of all airlines in the world, and with these changes we have met that goal. Now our goal will be to keep the schedules updated on a seasonal basis.”
“The first challenge was sourcing the data; then we had to make that data work within our system,” remarked Dustin Abell, Executive Vice President Operations. “There were a number of changes that had to be made such as coming up with a way for the same flight number to be used on multiple legs–something the base PVA system didn’t support.”
Some notable new aircraft include a C-130 cargo fleet, DHC-2 Beaver, DHC-3 Otter, DHC-4 Caribou, Cessna Citation Jets, Boeing 787, Ilyushin IL-76, many flights in Beech, Piper and Cessna light aircraft, and more. Alaskan bush flying is also available now as many little strips and seaplane bases have been added for the DHC aircraft. All of this is in addition to the standard fleet of Continue reading

Platinum Airways, the very virtual Open Skies airline, has revealed its September Destination of the Week theme. Extreme Runways will visit the world’s shortest and longest runways that have scheduled and non-scheduled service. Extreme Runways is bound to be an extremely challenging series.
Extreme Runways will offer exactly what it says: the world’s longest and shortest runways with and without scheduled service. The series will kick off with the shortest commercial airport: Saba (TNCS), with a length of 1,299 ft and its extremely challenging approach. Next up is the longest non-commercial airport: Edwards Air Force Base’s extended RWY 17/35, with a length of 39,907 ft, although only 15,000 ft is paved – the rest is on a dry lake bed. From there we’ll visit the shortest runway altogether: according to our research, it is 0WN5 or Potts Field in North Cape, Wisconsin, with its 150 ft turf surface runway. And we end the series with the longest runway with scheduled service: Qamdo Bamda (ZUBD) in Tibet, with a length of 18,045 ft and elevation of 14,219 ft or 4,334 m. ZUBD is extremely challenging, with the thin air at that elevation.
As per Platinum Airways DOTW routine, pilots will be offered navigational charts. In addition, links to scenery files (FS9, FSX and X-Plane) and other aids are provided. And when applicable, Platinum Airways usually succeeds in negotiating favourable conditions for its members for the specific destination’s duration. Pilots visiting a current DOTW are rewarded with a 5% bonus. Past DOTW’s remain available to pilots through an archive system. Continue reading

According to bluWave Airlines COO Johnathon Neilsen, the company’s half-year results for 2012 are enroute to climb above past earnings records set by the firm since its inception in 2010. This interview comes after the airline released its Q2 results on July 26, demonstrating stabilization and a positive outlook for the rest of the year. However, the company was hit hard by high fuel cost as it entered its second year of operations, triggering Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada in January 2011.
Although Neilsen joined the airline earlier this year after it resumed normal operations, he says that the firm has a lot to offer its market and that the management is steering the company clear of any obstacles that get in their way. The COO was formerly the Vice President of Operations at Qantas Virtual, which has since closed.
Late last week, we were able to speak with Neilsen on the phone where he was excited to talk about the airline’s progress and his prospects for the rest of the year.
VAFlash: We’ll get to the results in a moment, but earlier last month you and Connor Levens [President and CEO of bluWave] visited Embraer’s facilities in São Paulo, Brazil. Did anything come out of that trip? Or was it “just for show.”
Neilsen: Connor’s “Celebrating the Fourth of July in São Paulo?” blog post was “just for show” as we didn’t really spend the holiday in Brazil, but in terms of anything that came out of it, I can’t really say too much. We took a tour of their facilities with some of Embraer’s executives, exchanged a few business cards, and walked through the cabin of a few of their aircraft. But, honestly, the trip was only to get a feel of what they had to offer. We don’t intend on buying any regional aircraft any time soon, and we don’t expect to have anything come out of this except for a few occasional calls from Continue reading
