Bluenor is awarded with its AOC and an ACMI agreement
Bergen Flesland, Norway – Bluenor, the new subsidary of Colour Air has been awarded with its AOC by the Norwegian Aviation Authorities. For the operations of twin-engine jets with a passenger configuration of between 50-200 seats.
The callsign will be BLUENOR, the IATA-code BN and ICAO-code BLN.
At the same tim, it was announced that bluenor has signed a leasing
agreement with Portujet, which means that bluenor will operate 2
Airbus A320′s for Portujet. Continue reading
VAFlash.com Holiday Wishes!
I would like to wish everyone out there a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and prosperous New Year!
2009 was a great year and we saw lots of transition at VAFlash.com. The site was brought back from the brink of extinction partly because of the generosity of the J.A, the founder and former owner of VAFlash. We also have partnered with many new and older VAs alike and continue to give the flightsim community the very latest news in the virtual airline arena. In 2009 we also started tweeting out all news on Twitter.com and serving up news via our RSS feeds. Check us out on twitter at: www.twitter.com/vaflashsite
As you can expect, 2010 will see even more changes with the site. I plan on a site redesign so we can start to use more graphics in our articles. I also plan to expand upon the VAFlash brand to include news, hardware and software reviews, VA Profiles, just more stuff in general.. Expansion in all the said areas will also mandate an expansion in staff. Currently VAFlash is a one man operation; I’ll be looking to change that pretty soon. I will also be announcing some strategic partnerships in the near future, so stay tuned!

B6 Virtual Airlines Elects New Events Coordinator
B6 Virtual Airlines elects a new Events Coordinator to take the reigns. Salvatore Barcia, a member that has been with us nearly since the begining, was just recently elected into the seat of Events Coordinator. The final vote was 22 YES and 2 NO. B6 Virtual has a unique system for putting people into staff positions. Drawing its roots from the High School Band ” Chair ” system, people at B6 are allowed to challenge for positions. This unique approach keeps only the most motivated people in staff positions to keep us moving forward and growing. Salvatore is B6′s first official challenge in the airline’s staff structure. UASO TV Now Live and Broadcasting Weekly
Norfolk, VA - Today, the UASO has unveiled the newest addition to its widely growing list of interactive multimedia formats. UASO TV that only aired during live spaceflight mission events will now be broadcast 24/7 using ustream, a multi-casting program enabling a continuous stream of clips and video’s to be played off-air, and allowing UASO spaceflight missions to be broadcast via streaming realtime video online as the events happen to the second. FlyZAP Announces Plans For 2010
FlyZAP Virtual has released their plans to the public. 20 new European destinations will be introduced in Spring 2010, along with 2 more A319s in January along with two A320s and two A321s in March. Eagle Wings Announces Codeshare With Ecuatoriana de Aviacion S.A. and Rainbow Express Air
After a period of talks between our companys we are proud to announce that Eagle Wings has entered into a codeshare agreement with Ecuatoriana de Aviacion S.A. and Rainbow Express Air. This codeshare agreement will allow Eagle Wings pilots and passangers to use Ecuatoriana and Rainbow Express flights to get to their destinations inside Ecuador and USA, and also has a reciprocal status for Ecuatoriana and Rainbow pilots and passengers.
