FlyZap Virtual Airlines is proud to announce that painting on our new livery project has started. This means that we can get moving on the rest of our planned expansions. We are due 4 brand new Airbus A319s fresh from the hangar in Toulouse and we’re currently in the decision making process on whether to replace our current 4 737-400s with modern Boeing 737-800s, or to just paint the new livery on our existing 737-400s.
Romulus, MI (Reuters)- The Detroit based airline, MetroAir, released a brief statement today with a full financial statement attached. In the statement, new Chief Financial Officer, Matt Reichelderfer commented on the financial health of the airline.

For weeks the Austrian press and public had been hearing rumors that Flock-Air had in store a big and new surprise. We had reports about tests been made in restricted airspaces at night, so that this remained a secret.
Finally on July 24 of 2009 the CEO of Flock-Air announced that they were the new proud owners of several mangificent Airbus A380′s. In their own Flock-Air colors, now the skies might seem a bit smaller thanks to these giant aircrafts flying around the entire world. According to sources within the company, management worked real hard, for most than a year, to acquire this state-of-the-art airplane.

It was announced on the 28th of June that BlueSky Virtual Airways will soon be changing over to become a new airline. The airline is currently undergoing a complete rebranding, including a new name, website, fleet and schedules. The airline will start off by operating from two hubs (Malta and Gibraltar), and will be aimed at the Mediterranean tourist market; transporting passengers from many European airports. 3 McDonnel Douglas MD-82s have been acquired from Alitalia, and these will be used to their full potential across both hubs.

Westwind Airlines has just opened its 16th hub worldwide and 4th European hub in Madrid, Spain. This is a big stepping stone for the VAs growth in Europe. The hub has been welcomed by all members of the VA, and it is seen as a great example of the rapid expansion the airline has seen recently.
