A short update on how things are going around in Citylink-va.com land.
- We have placed our first livery on Flightsim.com. This is the default livery of the Twin Otter. Hopefully it will bring us newer pilots.
- Summer has arrived. Due to our nearly third anniversary (which will be in September 2015), have we something very special in mind for our pilots.
We call it FreeFlight. What it means is this:
> You can fly your favorite plane from the VA and fly it anywhere in the world.
>Even stronger: if the VA does not have their favorite plane, we will add it in Acars.
>They can fly during 2 months. (July 1st-september 1st) With what they want to where they want.
Example:
>Fly around the world in a Twin Otter
>Do Moscow-Kamschatka in a C172
>Do a virtual aid mission from Cologne to Continue reading

LegionAir has some good news for 2015. We have a new flight tracking system installed for better tracking of your flight. Also a new search engine to help pilots find flights easier!
Also we have our cargo operation that has taken some time in getting up and running but its here. We have 3 cargo hubs KOAK, KMIA, and PANC. We have a vast amount of routes from each hub. Also we have the Cargo Ops module up with 3 airports that flights are based out of which is VHHH, EDDF, and OMDB. This will allow you pilots to get some flights all over the world and in the USA at random.
This year we have changed around our regional fleet. It is LegionAir Connect. The fleet at the moment consists of the E175, Dash 8 400. In the coming time we will add the CRJ 200, 700, 900 for flights.
Late last year we reach an agreement with GB Airlines to code share routes. We are hoping that 2015 will give us a greater opportunity to get more routes threw code sharing all over the world.
We do have a couple positions available for people who would like to Continue reading
Channel Express Virtual is continuing to evolve and growing in all the right direction’s and still a great number of changes have taken place since our last report the most significant being the vastly updated website which has many new functions added to it, hopefully this will expand the flight simulator experience further.
The work has been carried out by our newest member to join us, Andy who has given us a website we can be truly proud of, we now have a Operations manager for Flyglobespan, this has been filled by another long serving member Jack and we wish him all the best in his new role.
We have introduced another new airline Channel Airways which operates from EICK Cork International at the moment this only operates a fleet of 5 aircraft but there is plenty room for expansion at a later date.
Our pilots ages range from 18 – 50+ and some have many Years of experience with Flight Simulator’s of all types we also have a few former real life airline crew members within our ranks, so a wealth of knowledge is available to those who wish to learn.
We continue to show our presence on most media and download sites, for example FS2crew, PAD and of course right here on Flightsim.com, we now have an alliance with Fly Goconnect http://fly-goconnect.co.uk/ which grants us the opportunity to fly online by using Team Speak and linking both FS9 & FSX, so we can fly together visually too, which is Great fun and at times highly amusing. and of course not forgetting, Facebook where we Continue reading
DHLv’s strategy around hubs is to ensure we have one in a country or region of operations, these hubs are responsible for contract negotiations, tender applications, service review meetings, reciprocal arrangements with partner or other local freight operators, airlines and road transport companies and of course selling our services to businesses and individuals in their region.
With the above in mind the changes to our hubs that have already happened are:
1. African operations are now based from the new hub recently completed at OR Tambo International Airport ICAO: FAOR.
2. US Operations at Newark Liberty International have moved to the facility at JFK International Airport and the Newark facility downgraded to a maintenance centre.
3. Caribbean Operations are now based at Princess Juliana International (TNCM) and the St Kitts facility closed but overnight parking/maintenance is still available there.
4. The hub at Hong Kong Chep Lap Kok has been downgraded to a Continue reading
